I'm also facing this issue. Video with reproducing: https://youtu.be/VOwOFic2zlc
Is there any log or config files we could provide to help investigation?

Workaround:
click OK rather than Apply to save a profile

I can't remember where I read it, but saving the new profile with the name "profile", no caps, supposedly works. It's really annoying that the OEM default profile no longer allows changes from its annoying defaults.
