No Auto Detect USB external Drive

SUMMARY
*** USB no detection of external drive when plugged in

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on external drive
2. Plug into USB 3.2 or 3.1 port
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
No auto detection of drives plugged into the USB port.  Even re-booted and is still not detected. 

EXPECTED RESULT
Auto Detect USB Hard drives.
*** 21.04 had auto detection and it worked. Installed 22.04, ran system update.
