SUMMARY

When Kcalc is launched, the app uses an excessive amount of CPU when idle. CPU usage is between 20-50%. If I create an application setting that slightly increases the window size at launch, the app uses an expected amount of CPU when idle of <1%. Resizing the window after launch also reduces CPU, but it's more convenient to do it at launch.

Note that resizing back to the original size will drive up the CPU to excessive levels.
