Created attachment 151571 [details] Copied from the bug report menu. SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select a layer to create a selection on 2. Pick the POLYGONAL SELECTION TOOL, or activate with shortcut key. 3. Click on the canvas to create selection OBSERVED RESULT Most of the time when I try to draw the selection the canvas doesn't react, it doesn't create the selection lines like it used to. Sometimes it does work and I'm not sure what determine when it works, but it doesn't happen that often. EXPECTED RESULT Whenever I pressed the shortcut or button for POLYGONAL SELECTION TOOL, I expect it to work normally and create selection areas when I click on the canvas area. This worked just fine before I updated to 5.1.0, previously I used 5.0.2 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I haven't been able to reproduce this on Linux. Are you using a mouse or a tablet pen when using the polygonal selection tool?
(In reply to Halla Rempt from comment #1) Hello. I use a "Wacom Intuos Draw" drawing tablet. My operating system is Windows 10. I just tried it again, open Krita, then click the polygonal select tool, the screen doesn't react. The screen reacts with freehand selection tool however.
