no more icons on the toolbar

I've updated Ubuntu to 22.04 and the app does not show the icons on the toolbar. Only the text (see the attachment).

I think you attached the wrong image. :) Can you attach the right one?

Sorry, I fixed it. Please, could you remove the old attachment?

Normally the vertical toolbar on the left shows all icons, and no text. I see you've manually changed the toolbar style to display text, which is a non-default setting. Using the method you used to accomplish that, did you also turn off icons?

No, I have Text position: icons only. This happens sice I updated to Ubuntu 22.04.

Interesting.

It looks like the issue is that your icon theme lacks support for those icons, so Qt decided to show text instead to avoid the buttons being blank.

If you apply a more complete icon theme such as Breeze, you should see the icons appear as expected.

Please, how can I do that?

If you're using GNOME, I guess using GNOME Tweaks somewhere.

Perhaps we should hardcode the breeze icon theme in Kolourpaint to work around this, or embed the tools icons in the app in case your active icon theme doesn't have them.

OK. Thank you very much for your support.

Kolourpaint install its own custom icons into /usr/share/kolourpaint/icons. I don't know why it's not using them as a fallback.
