STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot with external monitor connected
2. Login
3. Minimize/close all windows

OBSERVED/EXPECTED RESULT
The desktop wall paper is not shown. Clicking the desktop redirects the click to the last active window ( instead of the  desktop menu). Typing when in the desktop redirects the input to KRunner. Conky monitors are displayed normally above the desktop. 
Taking a screenshot of the desktop (considering it as an "active window") does show the wallpaper. Taking a screenshot of the desktop, in whole screen mode, does not.
