Description mashkal2000@gmail.com 2022-08-21 02:44:12 UTC
SUMMARY
Adjusting volume of a clip with the volume effect is not possible when a keyframe is not selected, even when keyframes are disabled for the effect. This is particularly annoying when the effect is copy-pasted from another clip

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place clip on timeline
2. Apply effect volume (keyframable)
3. move playhead off 1st keyframe
4. create new keyframe
5. move playhead off either keyframe
6. disable keyframing for the effect

OBSERVED RESULT
adjusting volume with the slider is impossible until playhead is moved onto keyframe

EXPECTED RESULT
volume is adjusted.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This would require keyframes to be dealt with somehow. Maybe there could be a warning if the volume keyframes are not at the same level, and if the user accepts, then the keyframes get deleted.
