Get yourself a new poppler version and it will work. If you can't get opensuse to do that you can always try the flathub version of okular.

In openSUSE Tumbleweed the version of poppler is 22.08.0 and poppler data 0.4.11

I guess the issue is that your fontconfig is broken and you don't get a proper substitution for the ZapfDingbats font. Can you attach a screenshot of file->properties->fonts after opening the saved file?
I sent a bug report to openSUSE https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1202588 I confirm with okular from flathub there is no problem. I re-install okular then I answer to your question.

Roboto Regular is a terrible ZapfDingbats font replacements, fix your fonts configuration in your system, not much we can do here.
OK what font to use for replacement ?
