SUMMARY

I noticed colord-kde isn't packaged in a few distros, is there any plans to include this in any of the main KDE packages so the KDE experience is consistent between distros? Many of the mainstream distros include a separate standalone package to install colord-kde while some other distros refuse to package it due to the age of the last git tag and request a new release.

We could conceivably move it into plasma-workspace or something, but distros might do the same thing and patch it out due to how old it is.

But the point is valid, and indeed it does seem like a problem that this software isn't regularly released. It should probably be added to either the Plasma release vehicle or KDE Gear.

I'll see what I can do.
