KRITA DID NOT CLOSE CORRECTLY ================================================================================ SESSION: 15 Aug 2022 16:15:25 +0200. Executing /tmp/.mount_krita-0YAU8M/usr/bin/krita Krita Version: 5.1.0-RC1 (git 8201554), Qt version compiled: 5.12.12, loaded: 5.12.12. Process ID: 185417 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --------------------- Step to reproduce the bug: 1) Add a fill layer. 2) Select a pattern and click ok. 3) Select the fill layer and click the right button. 4) Select properties. 5) Krita crashes at once.
Please install the debug symbols packages and attach the backtrace to this report.
I cannot reproduce this with the 5.1.0 RC1 appimage.
(In reply to Halla Rempt from comment #2) > I cannot reproduce this with the 5.1.0 RC1 appimage. I've just found the problem. It's a bug related to an old textures bundle made by myself. Remaking the bundle with the latest version of Krita solved the problem.
After a while the same problem reappeared and I can't find the source... ;___;
Before the first crash I changed the fill layer blending mode to Grain Merge and the transparency to 50%, clicked ok and opened the properties level dialog. After the crash the problem appears again and again...

*** Bug 461099 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
The bug is reproducibel in Krita 5.1.1, but not reproducible in master. I will check if it is present in 5.1.x branch
(In reply to Dmitry Kazakov from comment #7) > *** Bug 461099 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I just read the similar report and I would like to add that this doesn't seem to have to do with any installed plugins by them. My Krita version is 'clean' on both installs and this happens like clockwork. I'm not sure if many people have reported this, not even sure how many use fill layers often.
Hi, konstrukto! The bug seems to be fixed in Krita 5.1 branch, which is the base for the upcoming 5.1.2. Please use this version until we release 5.1.2, hopefully, next week :) https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Stable_Windows_Build/ And thanks a lot for the report!

Hi Dmitry, That's great, thank you!
It works for me, too! Thanks for fixing the bug! ^^
