Hello!
I've checked it myself.
The cursor does indeed move to the search box, but although the search box 'looks' focused, it doesn't accept input.
Can you confirm this?

When Ctrl + F is pressed cursor do not move into search box. Nothing happens.
Also Tab is missing search box:
1. Desktop Effects.
2. Tab, Tab.
3. Invert (Show/Hide Video).

Move to Search box:
0. Invert (Show/Hide Video)
1. Shift + Tab pressed 7 times.
2. Cursor moved into search box.
