SUMMARY When "transparent background" is checked in Neo Chat application settings, the blur is lost upon restore from taskbar. This can be resolved by disabling and re-enabling transparent background. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable transparent background in Neo Chat. 2. Click on the X to close the program to taskbar. 3. Click on the application icon to restore from the taskbar. OBSERVED RESULT Transparent window section is not blurred EXPECTED RESULT Transparent window section remains blurred when restored from taskbar SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Stable (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5
Cannot reproduce. For me it doing this *fixed* the transparency actually. It was pure black before, and after doing the steps here once, it was actually transparent now.
