Despite what the extension might imply, .mp4 isn't an extension only for video files. Depending on the converter, AAC gets the .mp4 extension, and this is supported by many music players. 7 years ago I've converted my music collection to AAC using Lame, all of my music uses .mp4, and during those 7 years I've never used a music player that didn't figure out those were music files. I was surprised when Elisa couldn't find my music collection, and extremely confused because it didn't throw any warning when dragging a .mp4 file into it. I honestly thought Elisa was simply broken.
Can you attach one such file so I can test, verify, and (hopefully) fix it?
I could, but are you sure it is okay to attach a copyrighted song here?
If it worries you, you could email it to me directly.
I've emailed it to you
I'm sorry I don't seem to have gotten it; could you re-send it?

I've sent it again as an e-mail. I can't attach it here because none of my songs fit into the size limit
Thanks.
