SUMMARY

When you open directory on SMB share and thumbnails are generated, dolphin still tries to generate thumbnails when you open directory next time.
It is particularly annoying for directories with hundreds of photos, videos and other media files for which thumbnail generation usually most helpful yet very time consuming.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open directory on SMB share
2. Close directory
3. Open same directory agian

OBSERVED RESULT

Thumbnails that were cached showing up.

EXPECTED RESULT

All thumbnails are generated every time.

The smb worker has zero control over any of this.

Dolphin doesn't, either. Maybe the thumbnailer?
