SUMMARY Opening Application Dashboard using Meta key on keyboard or clicking on Plasma Icon opens Application Dashboard in full screen and background is grey. But if I click on Show Desktop icon in the panel then open Application Dashboard , the panel is still shown and background is the slightly translucent. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Right click on Plasma Icon in the panel then click on Show Alternatives then select Application Dashboard 2. Click on Show Desktop icon in the panel. 3. Click on Plasma Icon in the panel or use Meta key in the keyboard to launch Application Dashboard OBSERVED RESULT Panel shown in the Application Dashboard and background is translucent. EXPECTED RESULT Application Dashboard should be displayed in fullscreen and maybe background should be grey. The background is always slightly translucent. That means that it changes depending on what's under it. When you click the Show Desktop icon and then open Application Dashboard, you're seeing the wallpaper under it, rather than all your windows. So it will look slightly different.

Okay, you are correct that background is always slightly translucent. What about panel being displayed when Show Desktop icon is clicked then Application Dashboard is opened? Why did you change Status to Resolved Intentional? Was I meant to file separate bug for it?
The Application Dashboard is a full screen effect that is meant to cover everything; covering the panel is also intentional.
