Description Lemuel Simon 2022-08-05 05:40:26 UTC
SUMMARY
Mounted disc images mount correctly, they show up in the 'Disks and Devices' widget under the 'Non-removable' devices section. They can also be found mounted at `/run/media/$USER/*` just fine. However, Dolphin does not show the disc image being mounted in the Places panel. Killing and re-launching Dolphin doesn't work either. I currently have a shortcut pointing to `/run/media/$USER` as a workaround.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mount a disc image in Dolphin (*.iso).
2. Look for entry in Dolphin's Places Panel

OBSERVED RESULT
The disc image doesn't show up in the Places panel at all.

EXPECTED RESULT
The disc image is shown in the Places panel. The user can easily unmount the image.

Hello,

How do you mount the iso file ?
Would it be possible to transmit the iso file so that I can test it on my system ?

Hi,

I mount the ISO file by right-clicking on the file and selecting 'mount'. No third-party services were used in Dolphin. Transmitting the ISO may be an issue, as I deal with copyrighted software in my line of work. I used the Windows 10 LTSC iso (distributed on Microsoft's website) and Hiren's PE.
