When selecting an video file and dragging in "Project Bin" or "Timeline" in few seconds crash Kdenlive.
That bug is related with movit.
If in Configure \ Playback "Use GPU Acceleration (movit library)" is enabled happen that bug and disabled is possible dragging files in timeline not crashing kdenlive.

I have tested using several projects settings and some files H.264 and Xvid.

Tested version 22.04.2-2 and 22.04.3-1 and updated movit libraries using kdenlive PPA

System is Ubuntu 20.04.4 FX-6300 4 GB GT 640 1 GB

In few previous versions enabling "Use GPU Acceleration (movit library)" crash Kdenlive startup.
That bug crashing kdenlive startup was fixed, but now has that other bug related with movit.

Anyone have tested Kdenlive 22.08.1 ? the bug was fixed ?
