Created attachment 150992 [details] Image showing Game Controller & Drawing Tablet info boxes SUMMARY *** Apologies if this is in the wrong, I've only just started looking at KDE and am pretty unfamiliar with the codebase/historical decisions made that might explain why things are the way they are. At current, if I go into System Settings, click on Input Devices and Game Controller, a big red informational message appears saying that no joystick devices are found (which is accurate - I have no controllers plugged in). While the red certainly stands out and ensures it will be seen, the colour to me implies an error. In my case, as I have no controllers plugged in, it's not an error but an expected result (though I certainly understand there would be difficulties determining legitimate errors from when there's just no controller plugged in!) Perhaps the type of blue messagebox on the Drawing Tablet input device screen when no tablet is plugged in would better fit? *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Ensure no game controllers are plugged in, and open System Settings 2. Click on Input Devices 3. Click on Game Controller OBSERVED RESULT Red message container appears at top of screen. EXPECTED RESULT This will depend on everyone's own personal opinions. I would have expected a blue informational box, but I'm not aware of the history behind this - there might be a reason why it's red. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Arch Linux, kernel 5.18.14 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As an aside - the Drawing Tablet info box I mentioned in the summary has no padding between its edge and the edges of the page components, and doesn't have a thick border like the Game Controller screen's info box. I imagine this should be updated for consistency - I can raise a new bug report if required.
