SUMMARY
***
I want to add a IPsec VPN Connection with "strongswan" to a Fortinet Fortigate 60F Firewall.
The Fortinet is configured with IPsec and a PSK

But the NM-GUI for strongswan VPN connection does not offer to set the PSK

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Network Manager
2. Add Connection
3. Select "strongwan"

OBSERVED RESULT
It is only possible to select certificates from filesystem, even if you choose Authentificate -> Certificate/Private Key

EXPECTED RESULT
I can select Authentificate -> Private Key and then enter
a) Group-Password
b) username
c) userpassword

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 H.H. 2025-06-20 09:16:22 UTC
This is still valid for

KDE-Plasma-Version: 5.27.11
KDE-Frameworks-Version: 5.115.0
Qt-Version: 5.15.12

A workaround is to configure the connection with nm-applet (there the PSK option is listed).
