STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Workflow - Select either scan all, or merge
2.  Search in - select Albums tab
3. Unselect Whole Albums Collection
4. Select a Album. No way to select all sub-albums if desired
5. Select Scan Collections for Faces
OBSERVED RESULT
No way to select all sub-albums if desired

EXPECTED RESULT
A way to select all sub-albums if desired

Right click and choose Select Children.
