Comparison of a kcm with and without a search bar

SUMMARY
The following appearance sub-pages don't have search bars:
    Global Theme
Application Style (Granted, you are unlikely to have that many styles here, but a search bar would still be nice for consistency's sake)
    Window Decorations
Fonts (Although since the font selection is different, should I open a separate issue?)
    Icons
    Cursors
    Splash screens

I get that the only pages that have the search bar are Colours and Plasma Styles, but still it would be nice to have search bars in all other pages as well

Right now this is done on a per-KCM basis, so it would need to be implemented everywhere, in each individual KCM.

A better approach for Plasma 6 might to be to add search functionality to the base GridViewKCM component, and then all the KCMs get it for free.

I'm going to move this bug report over to kdeclarative to track that. Feel free to file individual bug reports for individual KCMs that lack search bars that you think should have them. It'll need to be done one at a time.
