Description Silas Henrique 2022-07-22 22:28:15 UTC
SUMMARY

I know there is already a window to change the speed of a clip in Kdenlive, with the option to put the clip in reverse and pitch compensation.

But wouldn't it be great if instead there was a speed effect with all these options and the possibility to add keyframes?

Imagine the power that would give the editor! Being able to change the speed gradually, using smooth interpolation, and without having to split the clip to be able to change the speed of just a part of it

But anyway, just an idea :)

Thanks for your report!

Kdenlive has this feature already, it is called "Time Remapping" (see https://docs.kdenlive.org/de/effects_and_compositions/effects.html#time-remapping-speed-ramps). However smoot interpolation is not implemented, but there is already another report about that. Hence I am marking it as duplicate.
