SUMMARY *** Latte Dock (compiled from git master) does not hide. I use "Dodge Active Window", with a single dock at the bottom, but none of the hiding options seem to function. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure Latte Dock to Dodge Active Window. 2. Put active window down in the dock or maximize a window OBSERVED RESULT Latte Dock stays on top of the window EXPECTED RESULT That Latte Dock would hide the second a window would came into contact with it. Operating System: Fedora Linux 36 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.18.11-200.fc36.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As I mentioned, none of the other hiding options hides latte dock. Even "Auto Hide" which is supposed to hide the dock unless "pushed to show", doesn't hide the dock.
Okay, as soon as I reported this, it has gone back to hiding itself as expected, so I'm really not sure what happened.
After some more testing, I'm starting to think it's because of the "Ditto Menu" Plasma Widget, which I had in the dock. It seems it does something to the hide functionality when hitting the Super key to open the menu, which I set in the Latte Config. After switching pack to the normal KDE Plasma program menu, hiding functionality is behaving as expected, however, I'm unsure whether it's a bug in Latte Dock, or the widget.
