Description Henrik Gebauer 2022-07-20 09:38:39 UTC
SUMMARY
I have two users set up at my laptop. Both are allowed to connect to the network, i.e. after a reboot I can login with either user account and the wi-fi connection automatically sets up. But after a stand-by only the user who was logged in before can see the network connection.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. reboot the computer
2. login as user A
3. go to stand-by
4. turn the computer on again
5. login as user B

OBSERVED RESULT-
The applet shows that it is trying to connect to the network and that it cannot connect to the network (rotating animation on the icon, and finally a question mark).
error message: "private connection already active on the device: uid 1001 has no permission to perform this operation"
the network connection is active (I can load web pages).
ifconfig shows the wifi network (with a lot of dropped packages)
When I login as user A and then again as user B, the applet shows the network connection.

EXPECTED RESULT
no error
