STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to KDE Settings>Workspace behavior>Destkop effects>Accessibility>Select "Magnifying Glass" instead of "Zoom" 2. Click on "Apply" 3. Hit CTRL-= to activate the magnifying glass OBSERVED RESULT No effect EXPECTED RESULT It is not possible to activate the magnifying glass. Actually, a restart of KDE is needed. It would be good to make it possible without a restart, or at least to specify that a restart is needed. Actually, I find it a bit disappointing that you cannot switch easily between "zoom" and "magnifying glass", with a simple keyboard shortcut or an applet.
Or you could use "zoom" and "magnifying glass" in parallel with two different sets of keyboard shortcuts.
Can confirm on openSUSE TW.
