Hello, Currently in the KDE system tray configuration, I am able to configure the visibility status of different icons. However, this visibility status applies to all activities at the moment. It would be nice if I am able to control the visibility of each icon on a per-activity basis. Rationale: I am currently using activities as a way to remove distracting applications and to enhance focus on certain tasks and workflowws, and I'm sure many others are too. Some applications that you'd like to keep running in the background may be too distracting when you're working on a particular activity. For example, chat applications may be OK in one activity, but unwanted in another activity. It would be nice if I could hide those chat application icons in that activity. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux 5.15.53-1 MANJARO (64-bit) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5
I'd like to +1 this. Activities are a great feature, and there are certain apps (Steam, JetBrains Toolbox, maybe others) whose tray icons I would like to limit to a specific activity.
This isn't in the cards with the current way that Activities are implemented, sorry.
