SUMMARY
 application-launcher takes a long to time to go away, this happens when both clicking on the desktop and when using the super key. sometimes it also takes a long time to appear in the first place.




OBSERVED RESULT
 application-launcher takes a long to time to go away, this happens when both clicking on the desktop and when using the super key. sometimes it also takes a long time to appear in the first place.

EXPECTED RESULT
The application launcher disappearing immediately

Cannot reproduce, also on Fedora 36. Does it happen with other panel popups, not just Kickoff?

Maybe triple click the super key? idk exactly how to reproduce, but I know restarting fixes it and I think triple clicking super key causes it for me.

idk, im not using plasma anymore.

Then I'm afraid there's no way for us to debug this any further, sorry.

When you file a bug report, if you stop using the environment in which the bug occurred, developers probably won't be able to fix it unless they can trivially reproduce it for themselves. This will go for whatever DE you installed instead of Plasma, too.
