Can reproduce on X11 too.

My neon unstable has three user accounts, the bug only occurs when I use the main one.

Patrick can you compare these config files for a working and non-working user and let us know what is different?
~/.config/kde.org/spectacle.conf
~/.config/spectaclerc

How can I recreate these files? I deleted them in the buggy user account, launched Sepctacle, restarted Plasma session but them were not recreated.
