SUMMARY I'm using Fedora Linux 36 (KDE Plasma), and sometimes the screen locker breaks (I don't know why) and I get the message telling me to switch to another virtual terminal, and it suggests F2. The problem is that F2 has never worked for me, and I finally realized you could use any other, eg. F3, which works. When I use F2, I get a black screen with just the cursor showing. It seems a fix along similar lines was attempted in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kscreenlocker/-/commit/e8ea903cc1a3be8576973f030e84d4047fc822aa. I would recommend simply suggesting F3 since it seems F1 & F2 are commonly used. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Get kscreenlocker to crash OBSERVED RESULT Possibly misleading workaround is suggested. EXPECTED RESULT Working workaround is suggested.
