Can't reproduce, I'm on X11 though, maybe that's related
Can't reproduce on Wayland either. This error message isn't great though, as it doesn't tell the user what went wrong or howgive them any clues as to how they can fix it. We'll need to improve that, but first, we need to figure out what went wrong. Does it work if you choose a different barcode type? You can do so using the little settings button on the QR code page.

I don't know what other barcode type is there and I don't know how to change it, however, I was thinking maybe it's a dependency issue, though it was installed with Fedora itself as it is

I don't know what happened, but I just started my computer, and it worked great. sorry about that, but I don't know what was the problem
That's good to hear. There is probably no way to debug this further if you can't reproduce the issue anymore, unfortunately. Let's use this bug report to track improving the error message.
