Date and time

I don't see the need to save so much space with the clock + date.

Currently they sit one on top of the other vertically.

By default the icon taskbar view is used.

Most users have a lot of free space in the panel.

Just show the date and time in a horizontal fashion.

Attachment is how I personally use it.

There's already an option to do that in the Digital Clock's settings window, should you prefer it that way.
