SUMMARY
When switching between taskbar alternatives, KDE keeps adding Discover and Settings icons on the taskbar, even when repeatedly removed


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Delete Discover and Settings icons from the taskbar
2. Switch between icon only and task manager alternatives

OBSERVED RESULT
The deleted icons return!

EXPECTED RESULT
They don't

Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.24.4

Should be fixed in 5.26

Thank you. How do I install this 5.26 version on my system? I have tried to update my Kubuntu 22.04, but it can't see the new KDE :(

5.26 is not released yet. You may need to use backport PPA on ubuntu.
