STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. choose settings-styles-windows
2. Switch parameters in the brush interface

I can confirm this bug.
Also I thought maybe disabling windows styles could fix this bug.
The windows style looks like a windows98 style interface, which is really ugly.

Limit the styles that we allow for Krita

This is the same check we have in KisApplication. Otherwise, people
can select styles that we know are broken, like Windows. Also,
compare the style name in lowercase.
