Randomly, few moments after running the appimage file, digikam suddenly stops.
My locale is italian

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run the appimage file
2. Impostazioni -> configura digikam -> cartella di album radice -> Raccolte locali -> aggiungi raccolta
3. select a folder located in an NTFS partition -> OK

OBSERVED RESULT
crash of the app

Hi,

Download the "debug" appimage bundle version file. I recommend to use the current 7.8.0 pre-release file (it's so near 7.7.0 and it's safe).

From the command line, run the appimage bundle with "debug" argument. It will start in gdb. When crash appear, enter "bt" from gdb prompt. Report the backtrace here.

digiKam 8.0.0 is released. This file still valid ?

This bug disappeared already in 7.8.0
In the meantime I've been upgrading the kernel, still in xanmod version.
