STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. clear latte caches 
2. launch latte in terminal, "latte-dock -d --default-layout"
3. when latte started, u'll notice significant artifacts 
4.add a default panel, and latte hangs until i execute "pkill -9 latte"

OBSERVED RESULT
latte-dock hang indefinitely until i forcely kill it

EXPECTED RESULT
app not crash

sorry I dont have any such issue with my intel open source drivers under wayland... But I'll keep it open because when nvidia support under wayland is improved from drivers/plasma/libraries etc... this might get fixed...

also during normal launch under x11 session, the autoatart entry is added in ~/.config/autostart, but under this bug stituation, even after the dock is launched, theres no autostart added

1. this is another issue I can not follow it...
2. show me a screenshot of the artifacts you are mentioning

when the dock is appear or disappear, there is a flash occuping the lower end of the screen, i reckon the more severe bug is when i add a panel the dock instantly hangs

1. the hang part is another issue, I can not reproduce.
2. the artifacts issue looks like more as blur effect miscalculation but I dont have such issue in my system. If you disable Blur for Appearance do you still get the blur issue?
