global menu should be visible in top left, it isn't

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add global menu widget to application panel
2. Open Opera, enable video popup option
3. Open new tab, play youtube video (app menu is visible in panel)
4. switch to another tab in Opera (video popup window appears)
5. return to youtube tab (video popup window disappears but the global menu as well)

OBSERVED RESULT

App menu (provided by Global menu widget) disappears from application panel when switching from Opera youtube (video) tab to another tab and back.

EXPECTED RESULT

Application menu (provided by Global Menu widget) remains visible in application panel.

Linux: Kubuntu 22.04

Has the Opera window become de-focused somehow? If you click on the window, do the global menu items re-appear?

No, once it's de-focused, the global-menu disappears forever, regardless if the browser window is brought back into focus or not.

Can you check again in Plasma 6.3 or later and see if this is still happening?

If so, it would also be great to learn if it's happening to you only on X11, only on Wayland, or both.
