Hello, I believe that this change was intentional in 5.24 to show a preview of the selected switcher. I'm not familiar with task switcher as I use directly multiple virtual desktops. Looping Nate for confirmation. Regards Galder
What config button are you referring to? I'm not aware that individual task switcher visualizations were ever configurable. Are you saying that in the past there was a button to open a configuration window, and now it's gone? What was in that window?
Yes, in the past there was a configuration button close to the selector combo , just in place where now is the preview button. This configuration button opened a dialog to cofigure things like show or not background desktop in "flip switcher" , angle in the "cascade switcher" (im not sure the english name for this switcher, my native language is spanish). I will attach a new capture with the old look of what I explaining.
Created attachment 150164 [details] old task switcher look
Created attachment 150165 [details] Old version task switcher from my laptop I just remember that my laptop remain in the old version so I could take this screen shot and if you need aditional information from system I can send it
Ah, I see. Yes, the old effect was configurable, but it was replaced with a new one that isn't.
Thanks for your answer, could we expect this level of configuration of switcher effects will come back?. Is there a place to make a request of this feature? anyway, thinks a lot for your time.
