sorry this issue for Wayland. ignore my message :)
(In reply to galder from comment #5) > sorry this issue for Wayland. > ignore my message :) Can you please test this on Wayland?
Unfortunately when I try to use my compiled version of 5.25.0 in Kubuntu 21.10. I cant login in wayland from sddm. I got black screens. Probably related to my custom setup. Anyway Ill try with the normal wayland session and then replace plasma desktop that was working. source ~/kde/build/plasma-desktop/prefix.sh ~/kde/usr/bin/plasmashell --replace
just tested in wayland. the window disappears in wayland 5.24.4 and 5.25.0. x11 is fine.
about my environment in wayland. I don't think is using nvidia dedicated gpu like it does in X11. But I believe this is issue nvidia issue with current kubuntu 21.10 version. So I don't know if my tests are valid for Wayland.
*** Bug 455480 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Some more observations: * The issue is independent on which screen is declared as primary. * The issue appears only on the logical left screen for me. Never on the right screen, even when switching the screens' positions in KScreen. * The issue is rather independent of the scaling, so both mixed and same scaling setups are affected. However, using a lower scaling (eg 100% vs 200%) on the left screen, results in the window disappearing earlier during the drag to the left edge on the left screen.
\o/ looks like it's fixed on the current master.
