I am using a laptop and most of the time I am using 2-monitor setup with my primary monitor being the right one. When I disconnect the monitors and reconnect them, then my Icons-only Task Manager shows up on the left monitor and I have to drag it manually each time to the right. I believe, the task manager should be reset to the monitor that is set as primary and not the leftmost one. I don't know how this would work in Wayland where there is no option to set primary monitor. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux KDE Plasma (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Can you upgrade to Plasma 5.25 when your distro offers it and see if the issue is fixed there? Thanks!
Tested again on a different laptop with KDE Plasma 5.25 KDE Frameworks: 5.94.0 QT: 5.15.3 (Current Fedora Rawhide) It looks like the issue is still the same, however after attempting it with the newer one, I again plugged in the older one (the one the issue is reported for) and the icons-only task manager stayed on the right this time... I should add that I am using Thunderbolt
