SUMMARY
On Plasma 5.25, the screen brightness is really on my laptop, and when I try to raise it from the slider in the Battery menu of the systray, it does not change and flickers a lot. Going back to Plasma 5.24 fixes the problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Adjust brightness with the slider in the Plasma panel (Battery icon in systray)
