Run the command optimus-manager --switch hybrid or through system tray icon 3. Logout and be unable to log back in with a error message saying session can't start OBSERVED RESULT Something with the nvidia card and integrated card being both used screws with the new plasma 5.25 update. EXPECTED RESULT With the previous versions I've been able to switch back and forth just fine, get logged out and log right back in. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.18.3-zen1-1-zen (Kernal?) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95 Qt Version: 5.15.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Running on X11, I hope this is the right place to report the bug.
Can you upgrade to 5.25 and see if it still happens?

5.25.5 doesn't exist. You're either on 5.24.5, or 5.24.90 (the 5.25 beta) or 5.25.0, or 5.25.80 (i.e. current git master). Which one is it exactly?

Sorry nobody was able to investigate this yet. Are you still experiencing it in Plasma 5.27? If yo are, can you try the Wayland session to see if it works as expected there? Thanks a lot!
