STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open SDDM KCM
2. click on the button to change the background of the current theme
3. click on 'Load from file...' button and choose an image file

OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse pointer changes to what we see highlighted in red in the attached screenshot.
Mouse pointer is fixed when I hover over Plasma panel or a window decoration.

EXPECTED RESULT
mouse pointer should not change

Seems to only affect Wayland.

Tested on Arch Linux running Plasma 6 alpha and neon unstable; cannot reproduce.
