SUMMARY

It used to be able to move a window from one desktop to another by dragging via the desktop grid effect, additionally, it was possible to rearrange all windows in a specific virtual desktop by dragging from the wallpaper instead of a window.

After update to 25.0, the first feature seems to be lost, allowing only to rearrange whole groups of windows. Furthermore, dragging now requires two clicks to activate the action. See online clips in Dropbox posted below.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update Neon to 25.0
2. Open multiple windows in various workspaces, open a few per workspace.
3. Fire desktop grid effect from a hot corner
4. Try moving a window from one desktop to another.

All windows in the same desktop  move along while trying to  move only one, see:
