Created attachment 149697 [details] Notification SUMMARY Every time I open a file on Kate after deleting a folder or archive (zip etc) from where I had previously opened a file I get an "Examining (Failed)" notification. If I then create a folder with the same name as the deleted one, even if I put no file inside, the notification doesn't pop up. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a file in Kate located inside a folder 2. Close the file 3. Delete the folder 4. Open any file in Kate OBSERVED RESULT File opens and "Examining (Failed)" notification appears. EXPECTED RESULT No "Examining (Failed)" notification. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.04/5.24.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It happened with one, two and eight files in the folder (having opened only one of the files). I didn't try with any other number of files.
Tried that with 22.08, can't reproduce. Could you try a more recent version?
