Description [object Object] 2022-06-14 14:31:26 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KDE 5.25.0
2. Drag the brightness slider above ~45%
3. Rather than working correctly the screen flashes the higher brightness and then resets to ~10%

This is an intel backlight (framework laptop).
Setting the brightness to 100% manually through `echo 96000 > /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness` works fine.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.4

This seems to be unrelated to whatever I set the brightness to on battery/low battery though. It starts bugging out at exactly 47%, which none of my brightness levels are set to.

I'm having the exact same problem with my framework laptop on KDE neon, which is Ubuntu based

The fix is in Plasma 5.25.1. Is that the version you're running, or do you still have 5.25.0? If so, just wait for the update to 5.25.1.
