Description dauntless 2022-06-14 12:16:22 UTC
SUMMARY
When clicking the Battery Monitor applet I get a little notice at the top saying "Your notebook is configured not to sleep when closing the lid whilst an external monitor is connected". Going into Power Management settings and changing all relevant ones still fails to remove this behaviour.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plug in an external monitor
2. In Power Management settings > Energy Saving > tick the boxes for "Even when an external monitor is connected" and set both Button events handling to "Sleep"

OBSERVED RESULT
1. Warning is still present, as it's behaviour
2. There are no other settings within Power Management for changing this behaviour

EXPECTED RESULT
1. There should be a relevant setting for removing this behaviour if there's a warning for it in Battery Monitor. Or it should at least give information of how to resolve it.
