SUMMARY Hello, I very much love the new overview mode, although there is one slight issue for me. I am used to (from prev desktop envs, namely gnome-shell that I have just replaced for KDE after many years) triggering the overview to take a peek where my windows are and then switch to the respective desktop. However, when I try to do that in the overview mode, it doesn't work. I have desktop switching mapped to Meta-1, Meta-2, Meta-3, ... but when I press them in the overview, it instead starts typing into the Search bar (i.e. it types "1" when I press Meta-1, etc.). Is it possible to do something about this? Thank you! I agree. this needs to be fixed. I noticed this feature was added after updating to 5.25.0.1 for short time then it stopped working again after 5.25.1 for some reason.
