Screenshot showing the lock screen with the password unmasked

SUMMARY

With current neon unstable of kscreenlocker - 5.24.5+p22.04+tunstable+git20220603.0105-0 - the password field isn't masked in the lock screen greeter. Clicking the show/hide icon has no effect - the password is always visible.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen
2. Try to enter a password

OBSERVED RESULT

The password is shown.

EXPECTED RESULT

The password should be hidden by round circles or something.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.4

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I'm using SDDM for the login screen, and that also exhibits this behavior. SDDM was also updated today, on my system, to 0.19.0+p22.04+tunstable+git20220611.2051-0 . I don't know if it is related.

the problem was gone after today's frameworks update.
