Created attachment 149565 [details] Duplicates the wallpaper I have noticed that in some distributions, such as openSUSE or Fedora KDE Plasma, it is possible to find a duplicate of some wallpaper. I do not know why this is necessary and whether it can be considered a bug. As for KDE Neon and Kubuntu LTS 22.04, I have not noticed any duplicate wallpaper in these distributions. I will also back up the material here for clarity of this situation. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2

Created attachment 149585 [details] can't reproduce on git master.png I can't reproduce on git master. but it's indeed a bug before the image wallpaper plugin refactoring. Nate could you confirm it's fixed on Fedora too?
update status
Can't reproduce on git master either. Seems to be fixed.
It's been a long time and the problem still persists on openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma and Fedora KDE Plasma. Perhaps you should have rechecked this problem?
The fix was not backported to 5.25 as the wallpaper plugin was refactored heavily in 5.26. Please wait until 5.26 is released.
It's clear. I will wait for the next version.
