Description cooldood909 2022-06-07 20:31:21 UTC
SUMMARY
I always have mouse acceleration off, however whenever I re/connect a mouse, or restart my machine, acceleration gets turned back on. The setting visually remains set to what I left it as, but acceleration itself is definitely on, and can be turned off by visually toggling it on and back off. This only happens on X11, when using plasma's wayland backend, it works fine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect a mouse
2. Turn off pointer acceleration
3. Unplug the mouse and plug it back in, or restart the machine

OBSERVED RESULT
Acceleration is on, contradicting what I set it to

EXPECTED RESULT
Acceleration is set to what I set it to
